Job Title: Full Stack Developer – Java

Location: Hybrid – Birmingham, AL (Remote)

Duration: Full Time

Job Description:

The client in Birmingham is creating a new generation of software for electronic product design and test. You can join our mission to rapidly develop solutions for electronic measurement and data analytics as a software engineer. You will be part of an Agile team on the design and implementation in all stages of development, from conception and deployment. Projects include full-stack development with back-end development in SQL/(MySQL) and front-end development in PHP and Java. Projects are targeted to a variety of platforms on embedded, desktop, and cloud.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5 years of software development experience.
• Experience in software development with Java
• Experience in software development with PHP, SQL, MySQL with understanding of agile or similar development process

Desired Skills:

• A good understanding of HTTP, security, session management and REST. Knowledgeable about UI and UX design
• Understanding of test driven development
• Experience developing software under continuous integration and continuous deployment Knowledgeable about communication protocols
• Working knowledge of electronic test and measurement instruments Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Skills and Certifications [note: bold skills and certification are required

• Java, PHP, SQL, MySQL

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
